FIRST FRIDAY RECEPTION: SEPTEMBER 6, 2019, 6PM – 9PM

This special exhibition will feature works of art focused around artworks promoting positivity, hope, healing and wellness. Artworks may include paintings, photographs, 3D pieces and much more! This show is an open-themed exhibition.

Mental illness is a serious medical illness that affects approximately 1 in 4 families. Mental illnesses disrupt a person’s thinking, feeling, mood and ability to relate to others and daily functionality. The good news about mental illness is that recovery is possible!

Works in this show will radiate positivity and happiness. Bright colors and photos capturing “light” are encouraged! All sales will benefit Metropolitan Council of Community Mental Health Centers (Metro Council).
